SPRING SPORTS BANQUET TONIGHT, THURSDAY MAY 17!!
Calling all spring sport athletes for baseball, softball, golf, swimming, tennis and volleyball. Your sports banquet will be held tonight at 6:30 in the gym. Please remember this is a "dress up" event; boys are asked to wear a shirt, tie, dress pants, and dress shoes. Girls are to wear a dress or skirt of appropriate length, dress slacks and a dress top and dress shoes. No flip flops or Uggs please. Dinner tickets may be purchased at the door for $8. All team members are asked to attend the sports banquets. |
SPORTS PHYSICALS ARE TUESDAY, MAY 22!
Attention all SJ future athletes, cheerleaders and dance team members. Our annual sports physicals will be held in the gym Tuesday, May 22 and begin at 6:00. The physcials are only $20 and are good for the whole 2012-13 school year. You also need a current physical before you begin any summer sports. Please bring the two page physical form completely filled out and signed by your parents. Click on the heading to download the form. |

CONGRATULATIONS TO HEATHER HOURDEQUIN!
St. Joseph High School senior, Heather Hourdequin, has been selected as a Gates Millennium Scholar for the GMS Class of 2012! This distinction is awarded to those students who show exceptional leadership, community service, and academic achievement. Heather is one of only 1,000 students in the nation to earn this scholarship, which will pay for both her undergraduate and graduate education. Over 24,000 students applied for this prestigious scholarship, which was the largest number of applicants in the program's history. Way to go Heather! |

St. Joseph High School Girls Cross Country team wins CIF Academic Award! They were presented the banner at the Angel game on May 1. Coached by Luis Escobar, the team worked hard not only on the field, but also in the classroom. This distinction is awarded to the team with the highest GPA of any school under 1,500 students.
