St. Joseph High School has teamed up with EdTech Software to bring more value and convenience to your book-buying experience.  Students and parents can visit the online bookstore to buy books (digital and print text) for each class.  Please use the above link.
 
Here is how it works...
  • The opening date for the 2016-17 is Monday, July 11, 2016
  • EdTech provides the opportunity to purchase books through one company
  • Print books are shipped directly home
  • New, used and rental are available for many print titles
  • Apple apps are purchased directly from the Apple iTunes Store and downloaded on each student's iPad
  • Print textbooks (not paperback novels) can be sold directly back to EdTech for a credit to be used the following school year.  (See Buyback Information page for further details.)
  • Please note that St. Joseph High School does not have copies of textbooks available for students to borrow during the school year

Purchasing books for 2016-17 school year:

  • Schedules are generally mailed either the last week of June or the first week of July
  • Create an EdTech Software account for each student in your household.  Students may not share accounts
  • Please use the school issued email to create the EdTech account.  Student issued emails are sent to freshmen and transfer students end of June or first part of July
  • The EdTech Online Bookstore will open:  Monday, July 11, 2016
  • EdTech has links to Amazon.com Marketplace for books or apps not available directly through their company
  • Using your student's schedule, order books and apps online from EdTech.  (Use the link at the top or bottom of this page to create an account with EdTech.)
  • All students must download the new "Shelfit Reader" from the Apple App store to see books on shelf.
  • EdTech sells the "Required Format" (digital or print) for each book.  The instructor has indicated if print, digital or both are acceptable
  • Place orders early for best selection and pricing
  • If books were sold back to EdTech at the end of the 2015-16 school year, a credit will be applied to next year's purchase
  • Families may choose to purchase books through other online booksellers but keep in mind that some digital books are only sold as a bundle to schools and individual licenses are not available to the general public
  • A list of books can be found by clicking on the  " 2016-17 Textbook Lists" tab to the right
  • St. Joseph High School does not accept responsibility for any book ordered from an outside bookseller

  • Special Note:  In the event of a schedule change, unopened digital textbooks can be refunded.  Do not open (or activate) a digital textbook (ebook) unless you are certain your student is going to stay in the class.  Opened digital books cannot be refunded.

 

All students are required to have their textbooks and apps the first day of school.
