Horatio Alger Association Scholarship Program

Apply online by October 25, 2017 by 5:00pm Eastern Standard Time

Up to $25,000


·Must have financial need

·Must exhibit integrity and perseverance in overcoming adversity

·Must graduate in 2017

·Commitment to pursue a Bachelor’s degree

·Must be a US citizen

Fisher & Talwar $1,000 Legal Inspiration Scholarship

November 15, 2017


·Must be a U.S. citizen

·Must be a full-time student who is currently attending (or planning to attend) an accredited institution of higher education

·Must have a minimum 3.0 GPA

Elks Most Valuable Student Competition

Completed online by  11:59 pm Central Standard Time November 27, 2017

Award:  Vary from $4,000-$50,000


·Any high school senior who is a citizen of the United States is eligible to apply.

·Applicants need not be related to a member of the Elks.

·College students are not eligible to apply.

·Applicants must be citizens of the United States on the date their applications are signed; permanent legal resident status does not qualify.

·Male and female students compete separately.


The Asian & Pacific Islander American Scholarship Fund (APIASF) General Scholarship Program







APIASF General Scholarship application opens on September 14, 2017


Deadline: January 11, 2018 @ 5 p.m. ET

Offers a range of scholarships from one-time $2,500 awards to multiyear $20,000 awards

The APIASF General Scholarship Program:

· Offers awards that can be used to cover the total cost of attendance, not just tuition, room, and board

· Focuses on students who are representative of the Asian American and Pacific Islander community's geographic and ethnic diversity

· APIASF offers scholarship opportunities for Asian American and Pacific Islander students with financial need to increase their access to higher education and resources that cultivate their academic, personal, and professional success.


Santa Barbara Scholarship Foundation

Opens October 1st, 2017


Deadline  January 15, 2017 by 11:59 p.m. Pacific Standard Time


Awards Vary

·Applicant must have attended at least four* of the six years between grades 7-12 AND graduate or receive a GED from Santa Barbara County high school** by June 2017.

·Applicant must be planning to attend full-time as an undergraduate, medical (M.D.), or graduate student at a Title IV-approved school.

·Applicant must be a U.S citizen, permanent resident, or AB 540 eligible
