ST. JOSEPH HIGH SCHOOL BOOSTER CLUB
The SJHS Athletic Booster Club is an active parent club here at St. Joseph High School. The Executive Board of Directors is comprised of SJ parents and with the help of our many wonderful parent volunteers we raise a large portion of the monies needed to help support all of our athletic programs. With nearly 82% of our student athletes participating in sports, we are a very active group.
Would you like to help support SJHS athletics? We have many sponsorship opportunities available for you and your business. Would you like to have reserved seating and/or reserved parking at all our home varsity football games, including CIF? Dates for the monthly meetings are listed on the school calendar. The Board addresses issues related to the athletic activities of the school and it sponsors several events to defray the cost of the athletic programs. Prior to the beginning of each season of sport, August, November and February there is a Sports Organizational Meeting scheduled to communicate student/parent involvement for each specific sport; this date is also on the school calendar. At least one parent/guardian is required to attend this informative meeting.
At each home football game at least 50 parent volunteers are needed to run the snack bar, ticket sales, apparel sales, man the gates & 50/50 ticket sales. The football games bring in over tens of thousands of dollars each football season. All parents of our student athletes volunteer to work at least one football game. Volunteering is a wonderful way to meet new parents and enjoy old friends as well, plus, it is so much fun!!
