Parent Involvement
At St. Joseph High School we seek to promote a family-like environment, and
involving parents in significant ways in the life of the school is critical to our efforts to establish that kind of environment.  We strive to make sure students have a positive learning experience, which offers them state-of-the-art classroom technology, a wide variety of co-curricular activites, a highly qualified teaching staff dedicated to helping them achieve success, and most importantly high academic and behavioral standards that will prepare them for college and work.
In order to facilitate this learning experience for your child, we have created a variety of avenues by which you can stay informed and involved.  This website will point you in the right direction for a wealth of information.  Here is just some of what is available in these pages:  the daily and weekly announcement sections, the school newsletter, your child's athletic schedule, the bell schedule for that day or any other day, team or club rosters and Honor Roll lists. In addition to general information, the webpage contains information about your involvement in school activities; Bingo schedules, updates on BASH, Booster Club, Night of Knights, TRUST Committee, and Parent Board.  Maybe you just want to offer your services driving students or student-athletes to an event.  If so, the website offers you a list of contacts.  finally, your child's teachers all have class pages that contain, at the very least, course descriptions and syllabi for each course taught at our school.
We hope that you will find this tool invaluable in helping you to stay informed and involved in the educational journey of your child.
